Saddam's trial resumed today, then stopped. It was so fast Ramsey Clark didn't have time to make an appearance, other than his press 'conference' yesterday. The AP story has a lot of intriguing little details, and if true, doesnt make his (U.S.) captors sound very good (big surprise!) and makes the background situation sound frightful (well, it IS Baghdad!)
The sudden stop was to allow replacement of the two attorneys recently assassinated and one who has fled the country. The trial resumes next month.
