Bush's announced plan last night is DOA, so a lot of this is moot, but it truly was the wrong step in the the wrong direction at the wrong time, to paraphrase Sen. Kerry. Moving from group based plans to individual based plans helps no one except the very young and very healthy (and only WHILE they are very young and very healthy) and hurts everyone in the long run.
