The Senate failed, by 7 votes, to gain cloture on the filibuster of the PATRIOT act extension. This is likely to get worse, since Ted 'Mad Oil Boy' Stevens, is trying to load ANWR provisions into it, along with other goodies (anyone want another bridge?)
Call/write/email your Senators and make sure they are on the right side of this and continue to vote against cloture.
