Looks like the Bushies have done it again. Every time they co-opt a journalist (assuming, of course, that Judy Miller was co-opted and not a slaveringly willing co-conspirator.... as Kathy Griffin would say "ALLEGEDLY!!!!") Apparently, the whole Armstrong Williams pay-for-say froofrah is being passed off to the Justice Department (wont Fitz be available after 10/28?). I liked the media better when it was a left wing tool, and amazingly, so do the cops!

Kenneth Starr was installed for practically the entire duration of the Clinton Administration to just dig dirt. Why can't Patrick Fitzgerald perform this vital public service for the Bush Administration?
Personally, I think there should be an independent prosecutor assigned at all times to investigate the Administration (of either party). And DEFINITELY one for the Congress (maybe two, one for each house.) Just having that out there would go a LONG way towards cleaning up the misuses and abuses that both parties are prone to when in power.
That said, Ken Starr should be strung up by his testicles and beaten like a pinata.
