Kelly Thomas, schizophrenic and homeless, cried for his dad as he was beaten. His assaulters were found not guilty.
This has been big news here in OC for the last year. Fullerton has settled with the parents and the city government was basically replaced at the ballot box. But, while many of us were surprised at the failure of what seemed like a legal slam-dunk, I don't think any of us were shocked by the decision. More business as usual behind the Orange Curtain.
