Arizona, much of which receives more than 300 days a year of sunshine, should be the poster child for a thriving solar industry. Today, the state is the second fastest growing when it comes to solar: more than 500 homes a month add a rooftop photovoltaic unit, and the industry employs around 10,000 people statewide.
