The culture isn't specific to BofA. All the megabanks (and investment banks, which basically are megabanks, too) operate on the same wavelength. Find an asset, use it to exhaustion, if it survives, promote it. And yet, they still need government bailouts (and complete inattention to their illegal activities) to survive. Makes you wonder if the culture promotes the wrong people.
