As for "pro-life," that's really a huge misnomer that I would love to see people stop using to identify people who are against abortion. Fuck, we are all pro-life, aren't we??? (except the psychopathic serial killers maybe). The anti-choice group coined the phrase pro-life to identify themselves, and we all went along with it. What's the opposite of pro-life folks? Hmmmm??? They would have you believe we are "anti-life" because we are not them. And anti-abortion / pro-abortion are also invalid descriptors. Many people are against abortion (i.e. anti-abortion) and still pro-choice. If you ask a pro-choice person who doesn't believe in abortion if they are anti-abortion, their answer will be "Yes" (most likely). That's how those ridiculous surveys get structured.

Language matters. People who support safe legal abortions are pro-choice (in favor of a woman's right to choose and obtain an abortion). People who do NOT support safe legal abortions are anti-choice (against a woman's right to choose and obtain an abortion). (L)
