Josh has a
good post at TPM on the flap over the fact the Pelosi's 'mission' carried a message to Syria from Ohlmert, and Ohlmert's subsequent (and sudden) denial that he had given her a message. Looks like the WH was probably behind it, as a disinformation ploy. Complete with history on these tactics, complete with wholesome Cheney-ness.
