"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead (Mostly what other say will be in italics, what I say will not. There will be occasions when this is messed up or forgotten, but generally it will true- for those keeping track of the opining vs the reporting!)

All Molly All the TIme?
Molly has great 'bury/praise' Caesar column out about the so-called 'death of newspapers.' Focusing on the KR/McClatchey deal, she examines why the argument is wrong, but may, if not carried to extremes, benefit the surviving papers. She also hits the downside of too few voices, or at least controllers of the voices, and the ramifications of that. Really good.
