This show may get more interesting than we thought, folks. As if it weren't bad enough that Barbara Boxer is asking for opinions from Constitutional scholars as to whether Shrub's data mining escapade is impeachable, as if the various calls from the left for impeachment weren't enough, the freaking WSJ Corp has jumped on board. In this week's Barron's, one of the bibles of the financial world and hardly a liberal bastion (well, actually, it's sort of resolutely apolitical), the lead editorial is basically a call for impeaching our Preznit!
This is about as 'mainstream' Republicana as one can get. The market for Barron's is financial movers and shakers, and that group is not hanging out at moveon.org meetings, my friends! If the heart of the financial industry is calling for his impeachment, then it is not only a possibility, it starts moving into probability territory.
Of course, they may just be lobbying for President Cheney!
[The editorial online is sub only, so I've posted the mydd link, where they have it copied.]
