"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead (Mostly what other say will be in italics, what I say will not. There will be occasions when this is messed up or forgotten, but generally it will true- for those keeping track of the opining vs the reporting!)

Enron: Time to Butter More Popcorn
Now the fun can really begin. The Feds flipped Richard Causey, Enron's top accountant, to testify against Kenny Boy Lay and Jeffrey Skilling. Combined with CFO Andrew Fastow's testimony, Kenny Boy and Jeff may be in a world of shit. What's been revealed so far publicly is a morass of illegal, or at best quasi-legal, manipulations to inflate Enron's value and remove tax liabilities. With two of the top financial insiders and executors in the bag, a lot of really good (well, bad for Enron, Lay, et al) stuff should come out. Pull up the Wall Street Journal and enjoy!
