Attempting to undo some of the buzz-damage caused by revelation of his 1985 statements regarding abortion, SCOTUS nominee Alito tried to downplay his comments. He was only pandering to those from whom he was trying to gain employment, telling them what they wanted to hear, not necessarily what he believed.
Hmmmm. So he's willing to LIE to those who are offering him employment? Like maybe the Senate Judiciary Committee. We already know he lied about recusing himself in regards to the Vanguard situation, so why should we believe him now.
Urge your Senators to vote NO!
