"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead (Mostly what other say will be in italics, what I say will not. There will be occasions when this is messed up or forgotten, but generally it will true- for those keeping track of the opining vs the reporting!)

Hmmm?
I am an ardent feminist and about as pro-choice as it's possible to be without having a womb. However, I read Nicholas von Hoffman's post yesterday at HuffPo with some interest. He speculates about what would happen if Roe WAS overturned and how the Dems and the left might be better off if it was, and how women, generally, would not be worse off. I don't like the concept (protection should be an absolute, not dependent on a state by state 'lottery' of protection), but his conclusions are interesting to say the least.
