The Accountability Administration
DHS MisChief, Michael Chertoff, testified in front of the House today. The ummm lackluster response to Hurricane Katrina was not his fault because "I am not a hurricane expert." There wasnt a lot of 'there' there in his testimony. One thing did leap out at me, though. He said he'd decided to replace Brown with Thad Allen as BMOC in Louisiana by the end of the first week of the response. But the change did not come for another week. Why the delay in the midst of such obvious need and misery?
