The State Department released a new environmental analysis of the proposed Keystone XL pipeline on Friday that increases the likelihood that the Obama administration will approve the project.
The report, which is the final version of the department's environmental impact statement, found that the pipeline will not significantly increase greenhouse gas emissions -- the biggest issue for the environmental groups that want to see the pipeline rejected.

I'm pretty sure Sean Hannity actually understands how this works. But he's counting on his listeners not understanding, and he's in the business of making sure they stay ignorant and misinformed.

Today Representatives Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI) and John Conyers (D-MI) and Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) introduced legislation to strengthen the Voting Rights Act of 1965 in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision last June invalidating a critical section of the VRA. The legislation, known as “The Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2014,” represents the first attempt by a bipartisan group in Congress to reinstate the vital protections of the VRA that the Supreme Court took away.

If some one comes to your city/town/neighborhood promoting a voucher-financed Charter school, tar and feather them and run them out of town (lighting the tar on fire is optional, but recommended for night actions!)

Word has just leaked out of the State Capitol in Harrisburg, Pa that the Koch Boys are talking to severely wounded Republican Governor Corbett to move legislation this winter and spring to outlaw union dues deduction for all state and local public employees.
It is the same kind of legislation Scott Walker passed in Wisconsin and Kasich tried to pass in Ohio.
If such legislation passed in Pennsylvania, it would effectively destroy public employee unionism in this state.
That would then open the door for an omnibus assault on all unions in this labor state.
